Belmont Stakes Odds and Betting Favorites
We have entered the peak of the horse racing calendar, and Belmont Stakes odds will soon be made available. This year's Belmont Stakes will be held on Saturday, June 7, at Saratoga Race Course.
This will be the second straight year that the Belmont will be held in Saratoga Springs, N.Y, with the iconic Belmont Park currently being renovated.
The move to Saratoga Race Course has shortened the race distance to 1 1/4 miles, aligning it with the length of the Kentucky Derby instead of the traditional 1 1/2-mile distance. The Belmont Stakes will return to its traditional home next year.
One horse that we know will compete in the 2025 Belmont Stakes is Sovereignty, who won the Kentucky Derby. Sovereignty will not compete in the Preakness Stakes.

We're still waiting for the 2025 Belmont Stakes odds to be released, but expect Kentucky Derby winner, Sovereignty, to be the betting favorite. The Belmont Stakes draw typically occurs on the Monday before the race, so expect this year's field and post positions to be revealed on Monday, June 2.
