The start of the 2025 WNBA season is fast approaching – and we consulted with celebrity astrologer Kyle Thomas to discuss which zodiac sign aligns most with the top eight teams.

Thomas consulted with the stars to see which “energy” they each connected best to – as depicted by their history, legacy, and mascot! He also took a quick peek at some of the top players of each team, revealing their individual zodiac signs.

Which zodiac signs are the most common in top WNBA players? Is there a correlation between team compatibility and astrology in the WNBA? Do certain zodiac signs tend to rise to the heights of the WNBA? What zodiac sign embodies each of the top 8? Let’s take a peek!

Key Takeaways

Defending WNBA champion Minnesota Lynx align most closely with Aries

Caitlin Clark, Indiana Fever connect with Sagittarius, fueled by impulsiveness and passion

New York Liberty match with Taurus as an "unstoppable force"

Las Vegas Aces align with Gemini, a "symbol of luck"

Top WNBA Teams and Their Zodiacal Matches

First and foremost, when it comes to “top players,” certain zodiac signs emerge as the cream of the crop.

Sagittarius, Virgo, and Libra tend to be very common zodiac signs that made the list. This means that across the board, on a general level, these three zodiac signs work quite well in the WNBA. Sagittarius and Libra are very social zodiac signs, as well as quite competitive. However, Virgo rules “health and fitness,” which is another association that can make them excellent athletes. All three of these zodiac signs are extremely communicative, analytical, and passionate about their goals – which is why they rise to the top.

Surprisingly, no Taurus or Gemini made the list of the current top WNBA players, and Aries and Pisces barely made the list.

♈ Minnesota Lynx: Aries

Prowl, a fun-loving character that energizes and entertains the crowd, is the mascot of the Minnesota Lynx. Known for their fiery plays and ability to keep fans – and competitors – on the edge of their seats, the Lynx perfectly align with the zodiac sign of Aries.
