Gaming development studio Evoplay has strengthened its presence in Canada by partnering with gaming and leisure company Caesars Entertainment.
The partnership follows Evoplay’s official entry into the Ontario online casinos market earlier this year, and twenty of its games will now feature on Caesars Palace Online Casino, Horseshoe Online Casino, and Caesars Sportsbook & Casino in Ontario.
“Launching with Caesars in Ontario marks a key milestone in our North American strategy. It reflects both the strength of our portfolio and our commitment to providing innovative, high-performing content to operators of the highest caliber,” said Head of Sales at Evoplay, Alex Malchenko.
Games that will be available include titles such as Hot Triple Sevens, Triple Chili, and The Greatest Catch Bonus Buy, with further titles such as Fruit Nova and Ice Mania expected to follow.
“Evoplay brings a fresh and dynamic approach to online gaming, which we’re excited to offer to our players in Ontario. This portfolio of standout titles adds to our growing content library and furthering our ongoing goal of delivering top-tier entertainment experiences to our players,” said The Vice President of Online Gaming at Caesars Digital, Ricardo Cornejo Rivas.

The tax was implemented after legislation was passed in May, which went into effect on July 1. It imposes a 25-cent tax on the first 20 million digital bets accepted by any operator and a 50-cent tax on bets exceeding that threshold.
Historically, Caesars has processed fewer than 20 million bets annually in Illinois, whereas DraftKings and FanDuel, the Illinois sports betting app leaders, are likely to pass that figure in 2025.
Illinois’ new system replaces a flat 15% operator tax with a sliding scale of 20%-40% for the most active operators. Caesars already paid a 25% tax on adjusted gross revenue in the FY 2025 and some
